Meet Paul

Paul McElderry has been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2000 when he enrolled in New York College of Health Professions. He first graduated Sum Cum Laude from the Massage Therapy program and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2003. He then continued on to the Acupuncture program where he graduated Sum Cum Laude in 2008. Paul has completed over 4000 academic hours in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and the western sciences along with over 950 clinical internship hours.

Paul has also completed a one year post graduate study in Kyo Jung Therapy (osteopathic relationships of diseases in East Asian Medicine) and has completed a one year course on "The Thirty six Classical Needling Techniques" from the Institute of Classical Asian Studies.

Paul has had the great honor to have studied East Asian Medicine under the guidance of the highly esteemed clinician Dr. Stephen Jackowicz, L.Ac., Ph.D. giving him an understanding of East Asian Medicine that is not commonly found in the west.

Paul is also licensed as a Doctor of Acupuncture (DA) Through RI Dept. of Health
 

Paul was the owner/practitioner of the AIHC clinic, in Fountain Hills, Arizona, from October of 2008 to February 2010. His love for New York has brought him back to New York to treat at Red Hook Family Chiropractic.
Paul also lectured regularly at Stony Brook University Hospital and wrote a monthly health column for the Port Jefferson Patch.

Paul currently has been practicing in Red Hook NY since May 2011and has become an integral part of the Red Hook/Rhinebeck community and family.

As of October of 2018 Paul and his family bought a home in Wading River NY and will be relocating his practice back home.
